#-The Green Bay Packers offense put up 30 points for only the second time this season and did so against a very good defense. Unfortunately, the Packers defense could not stop or come close to slowing down the Eagles’ run game.

#-Now at 4-8, if the Packers had any hope of making a playoff push, it is likely that they are all gone.

#-As I do after every Packers game, here are my immediate conclusions from his performance.

#-I think we’ll all be wondering if the Packers game today will convert to Jordan Love at some point this season after being eliminated from playoff contention. Aaron Rodgers (aaron rodgers green bay packers) has been playing with a thumb injury, but his latest injury probably won’t give Green Bay much of an option.

#-Already playing with a broken thumb, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is now battling a rib injury that ended Sunday evening’s game.

#-Rodgers left in the third quarter of a 40–33 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night and did not return. He was replaced by Jordan Love.

#-Although announced by the team as an oblique injury, Rodgers clarified that he had bruised ribs when he spoke to reporters after the game. Upon his exit, he went to the locker room for X-rays, which he said made it unclear whether he had broken any ribs. He will undergo an MRI on Monday, and if the test comes back negative, he intends to play in Week 13.

#-Rodgers stated that he had bruised his ribs during the second quarter. In the third quarter, he was sacked on the Packers’ opening second-half possession, which ended with a punt.

#-On the sides, he was presentable and seemed to be favouring his midsection. He then led Green Bay to a field goal on its next offensive possession, but was clearly in pain. At the conclusion of the drive, Rodgers, who said he was concerned about a potentially punctured lung and was in great pain, left the locker room under his own power.

#-Love took over on the ensuing drive and promptly threw a 63-yard touchdown pass to Christian Watson. Love completed the game completing 6 of 9 passes for 113 yards.

#-Rodgers completed his night 11-of-16 passing for 140 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions, in just over half a game.

#-(packers score) At 4-8, the Packers’ post-season chances are long, but Rodgers said he wants to keep going as long as physically possible.
