It was a great game of cricket to defend a total of 147. The Pakistan pacers were strong at the start of the innings and their spinners did well in the middle overs as well with Shadab scoring only 19 runs in his four overs.
However, Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya dug deep after Virat Kohli’s good-looking 35. Jadeja was dismissed for 35 off 29 balls, as Pandya bowled out the team for 33* in just 17 balls.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz took three wickets while Naseem Shah took two wickets.
Earlier in the evening, India bowled well to restrict Pakistan to just 147. This was achieved even after some sharp strikes from Shahnawaz Dahani and Haris Rauf.
Mohammad Rizwan scored 43 runs in 42 balls for Pakistan. Bhuvneshwar Kumar scored 4-26 while Pandya scored 3-24 in his four overs.
