How To Make A Pie Crust Recipe?
Fall is when we make a lot of pies, so I wanted to share my Best-Ever, Butter Pie Crust recipe, which is also my master recipe, so you can know how to make a perfect pie crust every time. I recently shared an article about how this recipe will make you homemade pie crust for less than $3 and how it’s tastier and better for you than store-bought crust.
It comes down to a few ingredients and techniques: To make sure it stays crispy, the crust is blind-baked, meaning it’s popped in the oven for a while before the lime filling is added. You can do this step up to two days ahead or use the baking time to make the custard. let’s cook
MATERIAL:
- Flour: 200 grams
- Butter: 200 grams
- Sugar: 2 tbsp
- Salt: 1/2 tsp
- Egg yolk: 1
- Water: 1 tbsp
METHOD:
- Beat butter, sugar, salt and flour until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
- Pulse it together again until the desired consistency is reached.
- Roll it in cling wrap and keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Take it out on a flat surface taking care that the dough does not stick.
- Place it in the mold and your pie crust is ready to bake!
