The OIG or any State Medicaid Program may make the final official action known as an OIG Exclusion Screening. Enrollment in any Federal or State Health Care Program is prohibited by exclusions. Exclusions are put in place when it is determined that the person or hospital poses unacceptably high dangers to patient safety and/or programme fraud.
